조목사님 댁에서 모여 같이 공동짐들을 정리하고 2시 반까지 기다리는 시간~ 아이들은 지칠줄 모르는 젊음으로 게임도 하고 이야기도 하면서 잠을 자지 않았습니다. 늦은 밤, 아이들의 웃음소리가 그치지 않습니다. 그리고 우리 호건이는 그 새에 짐을 가지고 걸어서 도착하였습니다.
콜밴 기사님은 듬직하신 여자 기사님이셨습니다. 새벽시간이라서 쌩쌩 안전하게 달리셔서 두시간 10분만에 공항까지 끊어 주셨습니다. 우리는 빨리 수속을 마치고 들어갔고 비행기 너머로 아침해가 돋아나는 것을 보았습니다. 드디어 출발입니다. ~
We gathered at Pastor Cho's house, jointly organized our luggage, and patiently waited until 2:30 a.m. The children, full of energy, engaged in tireless games and storytelling, refusing to sleep. Throughout the late hours, their laughter echoed incessantly, while Hogun eventually arrived on foot with his luggage.
As dawn approached, a kind lady driver escorted us to the airport, ensuring a safe and swift journey of two hours and ten minutes. With quick check-ins complete, we eagerly witnessed the morning sun rise over the plane, finally embarking on our long-awaited adventure.
호텔에서 선교사님과 함께 자기 소개하고 아침 브리핑을 하였습니다. 백승민 목사님의 짧은 말씀 속에서 대만에서 우리를 이끌어가신 하나님의 섭리에 마음을 여는 시간이었습니다. 모세를 담은 작은 바구니는 동력을 가지고 있지 않았습니다. 노아의 방주도 어떤 방향으로 끌고가는 모터가 있지 않았습니다. 그러나 하나님의 낯을 피하여 떠난 요나는 자기의 방향을 가지고 움직입니다. 우리가 우리의 동력을 가지고 무엇을 이루는 것이 아니라 모세가 작은 바구니에 담겨 강에 놓여졌을 때에 하나님의 계획으로 이끌림 받았던 것 처럼 때로 하나님의 인도하심 속에서 대만에 오게 된 이 여정 속에서 주님께서 우리에게 무엇을 하실 지 우리는 모르기 때문에 열려진 마음으로 이 일정을 함께 할 것과 주님의 숨겨진 비밀스럽고 놀라운 인도하심을 기대 하자는 귀한 말씀으로 하루 일정을 시작합니다. 오늘 일정 시작~~ 고고!
At the hotel, we gathered and introduced ourselves before attending a morning briefing with the missionary. In a heartfelt message delivered by Pastor Seungmin Paik, we embraced God's divine guidance as we embarked on our journey in Taiwan. Drawing inspiration from biblical accounts, such as Moses in the basket and Noah's ark, devoid of motors yet faithfully directed, we contemplated the significance of surrendering our own plans. With a profound understanding that our achievements stem not from our own strength but from God's providence, we eagerly commenced our day's itinerary. Let us approach this schedule with open hearts, anticipating the Lord's mysterious and astonishing guidance. Today's journey awaits—let us begin with enthusiasm!
용산사 -불교 도교 무속신앙의 집합체 (가장 오래된 절 : 이땅의 우상숭배의 근간 뿌리를 이루는 장소)
Yongsan Temple, an amalgamation of Buddhist, Taoist, and shamanistic beliefs, stands as a testament to the deep-rooted traditions of idolatry in this land, representing its oldest temple.
대만인의 종교생활의 뿌리라 할 수 있는 용산사에서 어린 아이들부터 젊은이 어른 노인에 이르기까지 오전 시간인데도 불구하고 많은 사람들이 매일의 일상에서 자신들의 운과 복을 비는 행위를 넘어서서 점괴를 보기 위해 제비를 뽑고 뽑은 점괴를 해석하고 마지막 부적을 사는 모든 스텝이 일사천리로 할 수 있는 곳~ 출근하면서 들리고 퇴근하면서 들리는 곳~ 생각보다 우상숭배가 아주 뿌리 깊게 일상에 젖어있는 모습을 모고 놀랐다.
At Yongsan Temple, the epicenter of Taiwanese religious life, we were astounded by the profound extent to which idolatry is intertwined with the daily routines of people across generations, from young children to the elderly. Even in the early hours of the morning, a multitude of individuals went beyond mere prayers for luck and prosperity. They eagerly participated in activities like drawing lots to unveil their fortunes, interpreting the symbolic messages, and even purchasing the last remaining amulets. The temple served as a comprehensive destination, akin to a one-stop shop, frequented by people on their way to work and on their way home. It surpassed our expectations, revealing a level of idolatry ingrained within the very fabric of daily life.
